"I never imagined politics would get in the way of hope"
-Christopher Reeve

Human cloning is a very controversial issue, but the use of an unfertilized egg to create stem cells to help millions of seriously ill and disabled people should be far beyond controversy. There is a distinct difference between reproductive cloning and therapeutic cloning, and as these issues come to the political forefront, it is important that people understand that difference. Farallon Design wholeheartedly supports the Stem Cell Nuclear Transfer (SCNT) research, which offers so much hope and promise for millions of people that are fighting for their lives. Scott Fialko and Dan Evers with Christopher Reeve
Farallon Design Helps Raise Research Dollars ...

On April 27th, Dan Evers CEO and Scott Fialko VP, flew to Puerto Vallarta to help raise money for the Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation. For over twelve years Farallon Associates have been working with Celebrity Sports to support vital organizations such as CRPF. In a recent letter to Dan Evers, Celebrity Sports President Marjoe Gortner made the following statement: "The sun was out. The spirits were high and we successfully raised over $300,000 for Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation. Dan, it is clear this would not have been possible without the continuing support of people like yourself. During the event it was reassuring to know the winnersÕ efforts would be rewarded with one of your stunning trophies...they were very special indeed. On behalf of Christopher Reeve, Dana Reeve, the Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation, Stella and myself, I would sincerely like to thank you."

Christopher's longtime friend and former acting school classmate, Kelsey Grammar, presented the awards. This was followed by a deeply moving speech in which Reeve talked of the great research being done in finding a cure for spinal chord injury, and the political obstacles in its path.
